Rebecca Denslow, MSW, LISW-CP
Rebecca “Becky” Denslow has specialized in counseling since
receiving her MSW in 1978 from USC. She has continued to widen her skills
through training with national experts in couples counseling, ADD, body/mind
connection (psychological factors in physical illness) and grief and loss.
Becky recognized a previously unmet need for teaching relationship skills
that heal emotional pain while at the same time enhancing and sustaining
closeness. To meet this need she became a PAIRS® Leader in 1993 after
completing the extensive professional training with Lori Gordon, PhD,
founder of PAIRS®.
Becky enjoys teaching PAIRS® because of its proven success rate and the joy
that participants experience as they make positive lasting changes.
She has further trained in this area through continuing education classes
with Virginia Satir and
with Life Innovations
founder David Olsen, MD.
Her professional training in the field of adult ADD/ADHD includes continuing educational classes with recognized
experts including
Edward Hallowell MD ,
the author of Driven to Distraction and Delivered from Distraction,
and
Daniel Amen MD ,
author of Healing ADD and Change Your Brain, Change Your Life,
and Russell Barkeley, PhD.
She has trained in the area of body/mind connection with Carl Simonton, MD and Stephanie
Simonton, authors of Getting Well Again, and has taken continuing
education in the area of grief and loss with Elisabeth Kubler-Ross, MD.
